Day of the Dead
In Mexico death is dealt with in a completely different way. On October 31st to November 1st the country has a national holiday called 'Day of the Dead'. On these three days the locals take to the streets in brightly coloured clothes, with their faces painted to celebrate the passing of loved ones.

These skulls have also been a popular tatoo design for a while now and have been seen used by many clothing brands too.

In California cyclists dress as skeletons in festive colours and carry gifts of paper flowers and sugar skulls to visit ghost bikes and hold mini funerals for cyclists killed on City streets.

Sculpture in Niki de Saint Falle's Tarot Garden in Tuscany.

I enjoy seeing them around. Something about colourful skulls.
